The light impurity separator is mainly composed of a feed port, a screen, a motor and a discharge port. During operation, the pulp produced by the pulping equipment will be fed into the screen part of the slag separator, where smaller fibers and impurities will pass through the screen and enter the next processing step, while larger pulp particles will be retained on the screen to eventually form pulp products.
